Truth Frees Us Prison Ministry
When men a imprisoned for long periods, they get a chance to explore their creative side. The work shown here was donated by Christians at Lancaster Prison (we reimbursed their expenses, as many of these men have no outside source of money), with the goal of raising money for training and Bibles. For a donation of $25 dollars or more, we will send you the original drawing you request, or a numbered print made from it, suitable for framing. Please specify artist and drawing number, print or original. Response page.
Featured in the first group of drawings is art by Frank Pino, a soft-spoken Christian brother who found the Lord in prison many years ago. I think you can see the influence of the typical uses of prison art for tatoos and greeting cards. The color and line work are quite good. I scanned one and printed and framed a detail, shown below.

Albert is a close friend of Adrian, but not related. His work has a nature theme. The Arizona Red-Faced Warner below is quite nice, and the black and white drawing of kittens has some interesting line work.
